The largest olive tree in the UK is on sale for £54,000.
The 27ft plant is currently based in Olive Grove, Polebrook, England.
According to the sellers, it is certified to be between 850-1000 years old and the largest in the UK.

Weighing seven and a half tonnes before leaving its natural habitat in Elche, Spain, the trunk has a circumference of four metres.
Its foliage is described as evergreen, and its habit as bushy, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The ancient plant is classed as “mature” and has a full sun position.
In addition, the soil is well drained with a hardiness measurement of -15.
The company advises crane hire for delivery and says planting it at its new home will be part of the delivery service.

Despite their Mediterranean origins, olive trees are tougher than you might think.
But it’s wise to position the tree in the sunniest spot, where it can also be well-watered.
