Jamie Oliver has been slammed after filling a £99 Christmas hamper with some rather strange items.
The celebrity chef kicked off the holiday season by putting a basket full of festive goodies on sale.
And despite the hefty price tag, the hampers have completely sold out.

Foodies who managed to snap up the quirky basket will receive a total of ten items, including a signed copy of Oliver’s new cookbook, Simply Jamie.

The hamper also includes a tipple to take the edge off in the form of a bottle of 2022 Poggiotondo Chianti red wine.
But there are also some more obscure, miscellaneous items.
Buyers will receive a jar filled with pepper powder and another stuffed with mixed nuts.
There is also a jar of chickpeas and a jar of korma paste.

A wooden spoon is also included, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Despite the hamper’s popularity, many of Jamie’s fans were left reeling over the value for money.
Charles Lee said: “Not much edible in there… wooden spoon and the smallest jars.”

Kate Spackman added: “Not at that price.”

The hamper also comes with a box of luxury chocolates, some hot chocolate and a Christmas pudding.
Yet Becky Soward said: “Wish I could buy one.

“Looks great.”
