The Royal Family IS paying less for a housekeeper job than a three star Premier Inn is for a similar role.
Candidates looking for work might be better suited swapping a glamorous palace for Lenny Henry’s favourite hotel chain.
King Charles is currently on the hunt for a housekeeper to work at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Located in Edinburgh the incredible spot needs someone to keep it tidy.
However, the royals are only offering £12.60 an hour.

Whereas the London Kew Bridge Premier Inn is trumping that rate by paying a whopping £13.39 per hour.

With a whole 20 more hours of work on offer punters may be safer taking the higher paid role.
The job for the royal family also requires an early 7am start with shifts spanning from Monday to Sunday.

Housekeepers may even be required to travel off to other Royal residences across the UK, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The cut off date for the Royal housekeeper role is the 9 February.
