Guinness-flavoured gravy has hit supermarket shelves – but shoppers will need ID to buy it.

The sauce comes in both beef and chicken flavours and is packaged in a 100% recyclable beer-style can.

It’s described as having the “familiar essence of Guinness”.

It also comes with a warning to drink responsibly.

The description says: “A deliciously rich, luxuriously thick beef flavour gravy, with the familiar essence of Guinness to take comfort classic meals to the next level.

“This product is intended for purchase and enjoyment by people of legal purchase age for alcoholic beverages.

“Please remember to drink Guinness responsibly.”

The 330g can is four per cent Guinness and will set you back £2.50, as reported by What’s The Jam.
