Fuming, Tony Blackburn has had to get THREE new tyres for his car after hitting potholes.
The radio legend, who drives a Tesla Model 3, slammed the state of the country’s roads.
The 81-year-old fumed: “Does anyone know when someone in authority is going to do something about the dreadful state of our roads?
“Thanks to potholes I’m now on my third tyre.”

He added: “It’s all quite ridiculous.
“How much longer are we going to have to wait before someone somewhere takes any notice?”
Blackburn lives in Arkley, Hertfordshire, with his wife, Debbie Thompson.

In March 2022, singer Rod Stewart fixed potholes outside his home near Harlow, Essex.

He said the road was too bad to drive his Ferrari on.
Showbiz veteran, Blackburn joked: “Rod Stewart we need you.”
Roads in Arkley can be seen littered with potholes.

Local, Derrick Brown fumed: “There is always enough tarmac for speed bumps, never enough to fill potholes.”
Richard Earle added: “Our cars have to be roadworthy and pay road taxes but roads are not car worthy.”
Anne Waters said: “It’s a total disgrace, this country is going to the dogs.
“I blame all the lack of finance on privatisation and outsourcing, before those days things were much better.”
Phil Saville added: “And yet our council tax increases every year.”
Hertfordshire County Council has been approached for comment.
