A hungry foodie took on an eye-watering 8,000-calorie breakfast challenge.
Kyle Gibson was forced to throw in the towel after less than 20 minutes despite it being the best brekkie he’d ever had.
It includes an astonishing 10 of everything – 10 sausages, 10 rashers of bacon, 10 eggs, 10 slices of toast, 10 pieces of black pudding, 10 hash browns, plus mushrooms, two tins of tomatoes and two tins of baked beans.

The challenge comes with high stakes as customers who finish the entire platter within 45 minutes will eat for free and take home £50 in cash.
Otherwise, it’ll set you back £35 to take part.
The 27-year-old tackled the mammoth meal at Houghton Health Box, Houghton le Spring, near Sunderland.

No one has ever managed to complete the challenge and it takes staff 40 minutes to prepare it.
“I felt confident before starting the challenge but half way through I realised how difficult it would be,” Kyle, of the village of Houghton le Spring, told What’s the Jam.

“There was so much bread and so much food and I was eating it on my own.
“I gave up after about 18 minutes but it was one of the best breakfasts I had.
“Afterwards, I didn’t feel so good.

“The bloating was bad and I won’t want another breakfast for a very long time.
“I used to be one of the most competitive eaters in the country but now I’m not too competitive anymore.
“I just like to give it a go.”
