A pair of drunk friends were left embarrassed after saying security found them sleeping in a John Lewis display bed.
Freddy Roman and Jay Krishna, both 20, had been out drinking until the early hours of the morning.
The duo were trying to make their way home.

They took a detour through Highcross shopping centre, in Leicester, at around 9.30am
They cut through John Lewis and said they couldn’t resist crawling into a comfortable looking display bed.
Floorer Freddy said the next thing he knew, he and personal trainer Jay were being woken up by security six hours later.
“We were out all night into the early hours of the morning,” Freddy, from Leicester, told What’s the Jam.
“My phone had died so we wandered into Highcross to get a portable charger.

“We had to walk through John Lewis and on the way through.
“I have no memory.
“I guess I saw a cosy bed and thought that would do for the night.

“The next thing you know we had woken up at about 3pm to the security guard saying this was our third warning before they call the police.
“I couldn’t remember the first or second warning.
“He gave me five minutes to wake my friend up who was absolutely knocked out.
“When he woke me up, I thought I was in my own bed at home so seeing a random guy standing over me was a bit must.
“It was the comfiest sleep of my life.
“Ten out of ten for that bed.
“I’ve never been boujee enough for a John Lewis special.”
Freddy and Jay had been sleeping in the bed for around six hours and they were missed by security because they’d picked one that was hidden in the corner.
Freddy said: “No one even knew we were there.
“It’s cheaper than a hotel.”
Freddy filmed a clip of the pair tucked in to the bed and posted it on TikTok after their night out on October 31.
The footage has racked up more than 3.1million views.
Freddy added: “I got my phone out and recorded what had happened and posted it on TikTok.
“It reached 3.1 million people unexpectedly.
“Famous people have even liked it.”
Commenters found Freddy and Jay’s antics hilarious.
One person wrote: How does one even manage this?”
Erin joked: “John Lewis Christmas advert 2024.”
Another commenter said: “I can’t cope haha. Don’t they have security?
“Well clearly not. Too funny.”
Kai Grosscurth added: “This might be the best ad for John Lewis.”
John Lewis has been approached for comment.
