Bridget Jones is back and if you want to own a piece of film history – you can now buy her iconic parachute costume.
The outfit was worn in the classic 2004 film Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, when Bridget haphazardly jumps out of a plane and into a pigsty, while reporting for Sit Up Britain, as reported by What’s The Jam.
After getting her happy ending in Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001), the second film sees Bridget’s insecurities get the best of her as she embarks on her new life with Mark Darcy.

Meanwhile, her old flame, Daniel Cleaver, makes a second bid for her affection, resulting in some of cinematic comedy’s best scenes, including the moment Bridget finds herself accidentally locked up in a Thai jail.
The parachuting outfit, which comes complete with a skydiving hat, is being sold by Propstore for a buy-it-now price of £1,995 ($2,489).
Its description reads: “The costume has wear from production use and age, including scuffing, scratches and staining.
“Overall, it remains in very good condition.”
Since skydiving into the pigsty, we have seen Britain’s most chaotic, but lovable singleton struggle with her love life again in Bridget Jones’s Baby (2016) before she and Mr Darcey finally tie the knot.
