A secret compartment in a Harry Potter box has been found by a film buff 13 years after he bought it.
Ángel Larroca said he was left spellbound by the discovery.
The fan of the schoolboy wizard epics found the hidden cranny over a decade after purchasing the box.

A friend asked him if he had seen the Marauder’s Map in the hidden drawer, and he was baffled by the comment.
He said he “ran to the box” to check it and “sure enough, there it was”.
The 39-year-old, of Madrid, Spain, found the hidden compartment and excitedly pulled out a sealed packet.
He said: “This thing lifts up and there are more goodies in here.
“I’ve had this for 13 years and I’ve never seen them.”

The packet included the Marauder’s Map along with a plan of the castle and a catalogue of artefacts featured in the film series.
Ángel told What’s The Jam: “I bought the box at an El Corte Inglés department store in 2012, it was £262 (€300).
“I discovered the compartment I revealed in the video after posting the first clip, as several followers told me there were things missing.

“Suddenly, I received a message from a follower telling me there was another compartment near the lid.
“So I ran to it, and sure enough, there it was.”
Ángel, whose “passion is cinema”, added: “Both videos are going viral, with almost 40,000 interactions, including likes, comments, shares, and more.”
The two videos have also accumulated nearly 1m views on TikTok combined.
One fan said: “After so many years, Harry Potter continues to bring us magic.”

“What if I told you that I have that box and I didn’t know about the compartment either? I’m going to open it right now…” added Alicia.
Destiny remarked: “I didn’t even know that box existed.”

Harry Potter will soon return to our screens.
HBO is currently producing a TV series due for release in early 2027.
The show will star Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter with Nick Frost, Janet McTeer and John Lithgow in supporting roles.
