A Ferrari that had sold at an auction moments earlier for almost £6m had its passenger side mirror scuffed as it was being driven off the auction lot.
The Ferrari F50 sold for £5.79m ($8m) – and as the auction house’s driver left the stage following the completion of the auction, he scraped the car against the side of the wall, pinging the mirror slightly.
In the video, the driver of the car grimaces as he makes contact with the wall, presumably aware of the costs of the damage.

Devan Beiswenger’s painful video of the car’s scrape went viral, being viewed over 2.5m times, with 63,900 likes and 583 comments.
Whilst the brush looked minor, the damage can’t be understated as the F50’s mirrors are increasingly a rare item, with genuine side mirrors from 1995 going for upwards of £2,995 ($4,137), as reported by What’s The Jam.
One person said: “Look at his reaction lol, he felt it.”

Another amused viewer joked: “Me on my first and last day of my dream job.”
Scott said: “F***ing I-D-I-O-T!!!!! Oh, my CHRIST!!! A $12,000,000 dollar car with just 248 miles on its odometer!! A (now, nearly! Until that’s buffed out!!) perfect time capsule preserved for 30 years!! This is unforgivable!! Going too fast through that door!!!”

Another person simply said: “What a silly sausage.”

A fourth person joked: “I think it’s totaled, I’ll buy what’s left of it for 25k – final offer.”
The video was filmed in Scottsdale, Arizona, US at RM Sotheby’s Arizona Car Week.
