A dad has left the internet stunned after revealing his incredible Pringles stacking skills – painstakingly putting together a perfect crisp ring.

The unique creation took Andy Whitson ‘hours’ to make.

The dad-of-two from Manchester was inspired to take on the challenge after his daughter, Sasha began playing around with the potato-based treat.

He also roped the 17-year-old in to assist.

Andy later shared the completed work on Facebook, where it has left fellow users very impressed – with the post racking up over 33,600 likes and over 2,600 comments.

“My daughter put two Pringles together to make duck lips,” the married 50-year-old told What’sTheJam.com.

“I started stacking them and realised you could balance/counterbalance them.

“Due to their shape, it started forming the ring.

“It probably took a couple of hours and about three attempts to get a good one [ring].

“[I got Sasha to help because] I needed another pair of hands, especially when the sides start getting high.”

Andy, who also has a 14-year-old son, has since discovered that the Pringles stack ring “has been a thing in the past”.

“I was contemplating the packaging and shape of a certain crisp as opposed to regular packets and form,” he captioned his post.

“I was having a dull conversation about this with my daughter.

“We wondered if they could be stacked or positioned in any other arrangement.

“Behold… the ringle. 50, size 10, favourite flavour sour cream & onion.”

Social media comments offered a mix of admiration for the dedication to some people questioning if the dad had used glue – but he’s adamant that the ring was made with no extras.

“So clever,” said Cindy.

“NICELY DONE!!!,” added someone else.

Richard added: “That’s quite lovely. Should’ve made a video because I wasted most of a can trying this. Now it’s dog food.”

“Love it,” said Elke.

Andy said: “Comments [on the post] varied from admiration and love to cynicism of it was [being] fake – [made with] AI, glue, not my work, stolen from internet.

“I’ve subsequently discovered the Pringle ringle was actually a thing from a few years ago but I’d never heard if it.”

Unfortunately, his Facebook post was later removed as moderators “don’t allow cropped images” – to which the dad says “haters gonna hate”.

He takes the feedback to his creation in his stride.

Andy added: “I’m a full-time wedding host/DJ – not an engineer!

“[It’s] something to try when you’re bored.”
