A woman “obsessed” with collecting instant noodle packets has revealed her huge, yet affordable, collection.
Alya Nurshabrina, 28, loves munching on the delicious quick-to-cook snack daily.
But while a fan of the taste, she’s also quite the fanatic for the wrappers, too.
Now, she has over 180 different types of noodle packaging proudly filed away.

And her bizarre hobby has intrigued people online, with one video racking up over 710,000 views and 77,000 likes on TikTok.
“I’m collecting [these] to practice sincere appreciation towards everything in my life, even the little things like cheap instant noodles,” Alya, a singer, told What’s The Jam.
“After doing it for a while, it’s [helped] me celebrate little accomplishments.
“Perhaps I could sell my collection to a museum or to a future collector, and make a lot of money, who knows.

“Honestly though, I don’t want to worry about how much money my hobby will give me in the future.
“I’m already genuinely satisfied with just flicking through the pages of my noodle collections.”
Alya, from Jakarta, Indonesia, became inspired after seeing another creator online collecting noodles.

And while it’s an “obsession”, she’s kept it budget-friendly; spending only £72 in total since 2022.
She said: “I think it’s an affordable long term hobby.
“More or less like collecting stamps.
“I didn’t buy everything too, a lot of them are souvenirs from my friends and family after they visited other countries.
“I limit myself to two portions per week maximum.
“Some from local supermarkets, some from online shops.
“I love collecting this fun silly thing because it falls into the category of maintaining a healthy habit for my mind.”
Her favourite brands are Indomie and Samyang Buldak, with the spicy flavours her top go-to.
Alya said: “When I taste the different flavours I get excited and forget about my problems for a little bit.
“As I try each Indomie flavour, it feels like I’m not just fulfilling my hunger, [but my] curiosity.
“It’s as if the flavours take me travelling to a whole different city while I experience their traditional cuisines.
“This cultural aspect is what I love the most from this brand.
“Samyang Buldak is my favourite foreign instant noodle brand to collect.
“I love their spiciness, their portion is significantly larger too, usually almost twice bigger than brands from other countries.
“All the pretty colours on the packaging are fun to see.”
In the clip, she reveals just how vast her collection is and counts through the packets, showing each flavour.
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with one noodle brand even praising her collection.
One person commented: “This is will be treasure in 2050.”
“You’re so dedicated. love it!,” said Cafii.
Another user said: “Indomie should make her the brand ambassador.”
Indomie themselves commented: “Wow, what an impressive collection!”
“
Omg I have the same hobby lol,” quipped Kenji.
Alya added: “I’m doing this in a relaxed pace without any pressure to myself, to enjoy everything.“I might keep slowly adding up the amount until I die.
“Who knows, maybe my future kids will continue?“
‘My close friends are all enthusiastic.
“They told me it gets easier for them whenever they’re abroad and wanting to give me souvenirs.
“They already know they can give me unique noodles and they don’t have to spend much.
“For everyone who’s thinking about giving this weird but cute hobby a shot, I hope you have fun and I wish you good luck.
“But please remember to not sacrifice your health and your savings while doing it”
