A swarm of ‘UFOs’ has been spotted in the night sky after an earthquake hit.
The magnitude 5.6 event was recorded about 25 miles from Turhal, Tokat Province, Turkey.
The quake had a shallow depth of 6 miles but was widely felt in the region.

Locals were stunned when a swarm of what they said appeared to be flying saucers was spotted later that same night.
The clip shows dozens of bright lights shooting across the night sky as a couple discuss what it could be.
The man says: “You need to see this.
The woman replies: “What are those? Why are the birds shining like white gold?”
The video was widely shared on Instagram on 1 May, as reported by What’s the Jam.

One local commented: “They’re either souls or angels.”
Another said: “They are seagulls flying over a light source, nothing mysterious about this.”
Ethan wrote: “There are some natural phenomena that produce lights in the sky around fault lines, especially after earthquakes.”

“It’s a gaggle of geese that were on the ground feeding in a cornfield when they were forced to take flight because of the earthquake,” said someone else.
Numy remarked: “If I were an alien, I wouldn’t bother creating mysteries. I would just expose myself.”

The earthquake took place around 6.10pm on 18 April.
