A woman who ‘married and divorced’ a ghost has shared her latest creepy encounter – this time claiming to have been “possessed” by a mass murderer on death row.
Brocarde, a singer and songwriter from Oxfordshire, made headlines after falling in love with Edwardo – the ghost of a Victorian soldier – after he ‘appeared’ in her home.
The 40-year-old called it quits last summer but claims she still can’t escape the paranormal due to being “hyper sensitive” to spirits – now using her skills as an investigator.

Earlier this month, while on a trip to haunted hotspots in the US, Brocarde says she was granted access to the now-defunct Nevada State Prison.
The penitentiary, which closed in 2012, housed death row inmates – including Carroll Edward “Eddie” Cole, who the singer claims latched onto her.
Cole was executed by lethal injection in 1985 for killing two women by strangulation.
He was also convicted of murdering three other women in Texas, and is believed to have murdered up to 30 other people between 1947-1980.
“I’ve had my fair share of uncomfortable encounters with ghosts, but this was easily the most terrifying place I’ve ever visited,” she told What’s The Jam.

“It’s so active, the prison is huge and pitch black after dark, I could barely stomach being in there.
“After dark there was no light in the prison building and I could see shadows and apparitions everywhere.
“It’s a maze of cells and corridors.

“I had to stop the exploration and return to base camp a few times as I couldn’t handle how active it is, but there was something calling me back and willing me to get inside the execution chamber.
“The ghosts there are nothing like I’ve encountered.
“They have crawling animal-like figures.”
Stepping into the execution chamber, Brocarde says she felt dizzy and as if “someone was trying to take over my being”.
She added: “On several occasions I lost balance and felt in a daze – it was like losing some kind of consciousness, like you feel when you’re about to faint.
“I had the apparition of a man following me from the moment I entered the colony area and this spirit was causing me to act out of character.
“It was like having a menacing presence take over my being, my mood shifted and personality changed.
“I told staff what I had experienced and they told me about Eddie Cole.”
Brocarde says she used a ‘spirit rod’ to ask questions, before feeling compelled to ask if it was called ‘Carroll’ – which the spirit reportedly confirmed it was.
Speaking of the ‘possession’, she added: “It was quite a sickly feeling, as this wasn’t a usual spirit, this was the spirit of a murderer who hated women.
“The prison warned me that many women who have entered the prison have had horrible encounters with him, like the feeling of being choked or grabbed by the throat.
“Because I had a strong connection with him they wanted me to see if I experienced him in the execution chamber, where he died.
“During my time in there he was forcing me to look at him.
“I could see the vision of his last moments; it was disturbing, he kept telling me to watch him die.
“I was consciously fighting his wishes and out of nowhere I started spinning again, and felt something force me towards the execution bed.
“I felt a choking again, like I was going to lose consciousness, and then I saw the spirit of a small boy stop him.
“I fully believe that this young boy was the spirit of his younger innocent self, before he was corrupted and started his killing spree.”
Despite the chilling experience in the “menacing” place, it hasn’t stopped Brocarde from continuing plans for further paranormal investigations.
She added: “It hasn’t put me off at all as I feel there’s so much more of that world that we don’t know or understand.”
