A sushi feast served on a naked model’s body has stumped a diner who ‘didn’t know where to start’.
Xiao Zheng attended a dinner party at a hotel in Taichung, Taiwan, that he claimed cost him £1,456 (TWD 60,000).
However, he said he found the naked woman somewhat distracting.

The model’s nether regions were covered with strategically placed raw fish and decorative flowers.
Zheng stated: “After picking up the chopsticks, I didn’t know where to start.
“Plus there were about a dozen people dining at the time, so I was worried about eating from the wrong place.”
“A friend then reminded me that they work out the price depending on the quality of the ingredients.
As raw fish and meat lose their freshness when exposed to high temperatures, they must be consumed within a certain period of time.

This meant Zheng didn’t enjoy the food like he normally would.
He said: “I really didn’t taste anything in particular.”
Some local doctors pointed out that the average body temperature is between 36.5 and 37.5 °C, which is not suitable for preserving sashimi.

The Taichung health authorities said they have not received a complaint about the incident so far.
However, officials still plan to visit the establishment in the coming days to carry out an inspection.
The practice of serving sushi on a naked woman’s body is more common in Japan where it is called ‘Nyotaimori’.
Also known as ‘body sushi’, it has been criticised as degrading and sexist in many regions outside of Japan.
China outlawed the practice in 2005 due to public health concerns and moral reasons, as reported by What’s the Jam.
It is becoming more popular in Taiwan, where several establishments have started including it as a dining option.
