An England superfan who has spent £90,000 watching England crash out of tournaments slammed manager Thomas Tuchel’s terrible tactics.
Ian Odgers has not missed an England home qualifier or friendly in 17 years and has attended every away qualifier and friendly for the past 12.
The 58-year-old, who is tattooed with passport stamps from attending away games, was at Wednesday’s clash with Argentina in Atlanta.

England were beaten by the reigning world champions after taking the lead.
Odgers, from Dereham, Norfolk, spent nearly £9,000 following England at this World Cup and £90,000 over the years in total.
He is one of the most loyal England fans and was devastated by the latest setback, as reported by What’s The Jam.

He said: “Tuchel made the wrong substitutions.
“We went negative and played like we did under previous manager Gareth Southgate.

“Tuchel said he put defenders on to deal with the crosses.
“But surely it would have been better to put a midfielder on to stop the crosses.
“We went into ourselves like we did against Italy in the final of the European Championships.

“I’m absolutely gutted.

“We were so close to the final.
“And I really believed it was coming home.”
He started documenting his football trips with a series of tattoos around seven years ago.
He also said he keeps going because it is the best hobby in the world.
England will now face France in the Bronze Final on Saturday as both sides look to take third place in the competition.
Their conquerors Argentina, however, play Spain for the ultimate prize in world sport on Sunday.
