A psychic medium has revealed her family trips to the park and swimming pool aren’t just filled with ice creams and tantrums – they’re haunted.
Mum-of-three Chloe Smith claims ghosts love to tag along on her family’s school holiday outings – and says her kids have also inherited her eerie powers.
Chloe, 28, who has sons George, nine, and Charlie, seven, and a six-year-old daughter, Ivy, says they are visited by spirits almost every day.

The spooky companions have even followed them swimming and to the local park.
“In terms of school holidays, spirits just linger and can join in when we bake, craft or go for walks,” Chloe, from Staffordshire, told What’s The Jam.
“It‘s quite strange because I have spirits around me all of the time anyway.
“But it is like when we are going swimming, I’ll say excuse me, no thank you.

“They try to pop in and join in.

“But it is nice when it’s the younger spirits, they tend to do it a lot.
“I’ve also had older spirits bring children forward, too.
“For example, I could have my nan come forward, but then she could bring a little girl and be like ‘come and play’ in the spiritual world and try and join in that way.”

And her kids aren’t just bystanders.
She said: “George will often see spirits, whereas Charlie and Ivy don’t see anything.

“However, Ivy is really psychic; she scares the hell out of me sometimes.
“If we try and do a surprise like recently, we surprised the kids by going to Alton Towers.
“We’ll be driving and she’ll be like ’ Are we at Alton Towers yet?’
“And I’m like Ivy! She just ruins surprises because she’s so psychic.”
But Chloe admits the family hasn’t had a proper sit-down about her work with spirits.
She said: “We don’t really have the conversation as they don’t understand what I do.
“We’ve never spoken about it, but they’re in tune with everything, so they know there is stuff there, even though we haven’t had the chat.
“They just don’t really question it because it’s normal to us.
“It is just the norm to me, as when I was growing up, as a child, I didn’t realise the things I was seeing were a spirit.

“I thought everybody else could see them, too.
“But it is just welcoming, it is love and light.
“I always say to the kids, ‘What does mummy do for work?’ and Ivy will always say,’ You help others all the time.’
“And that’s kind of it, how it stays.”
Chloe says she protects her little ones with what she calls a “protective bubble”.
Chloe added: “So protective bubbles are fantastic, and it is something that I’ve learned along the way.
“Everything is about visualisation.

“All you’ve got to do is close your eyes and visualise yourself in this huge bubble that no one can enter – your energy is then protected.
“No spirits can enter your bubble, and nobody else’s energy can enter it either.
“Whether you are in a crowd, food shopping, or anxious, this bubble is around you and completely protective.
“I do this by envisioning it around my children, and it works.
“Our minds are incredible.”
