A woman who married a rag doll has revealed she is heartbroken over the ‘kidnap’ of her rag doll child by a thief demanding a ransom.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes, 37, has previously hit the headlines for opening up about details of her relationship with Marcelo, a life-sized rag doll.
The duo have three little rag doll kids, two-year-old son Marcelinho and ‘newborn’ twin daughters Marcela and Emilia.

But she has now revealed that Marcelinho has been kidnapped, and the thieves have asked for £136,715 (RM) to get him back.
“Marcelinho was kidnapped and it is causing great sadness in our family,” Meirivone, from Brazil, told What’s The Jam.
“They asked for a million, but I said: ‘I’m not rich. I don’t even have enough to eat, and you want that much money from me.’
“Marcelo is also outraged.
“We don’t know what to do anymore.

“We are posting photos all over the city.”
She claims that the kidnappers even sent them an anonymous letter made with cut-outs from magazines.
She said: “We are doing what we can.

“We don’t know why, but when we went to the police, the police laughed in my face.
“It is so disrespectful.
“How could you ever make jokes about the disappearance of a child who is only two years old?”
The ‘couple’ had also recently celebrated their son’s second birthday.
Meirivone said: “On his first birthday, we had a big party with my family, but this time we had a small intimate celebration just with some of Marcelo’s cousins.
“Marcelinho had a lot of fun with his relatives.
“There were lots of games and music and popcorn, hot dogs, cake, sweets, soda, and even souvenirs.”
Meirivone says she just wants him home.
She said: “The neighbors told us that a person was here all morning with a red striped bag.
“Then, my Marcelinho disappeared.
“Marcelo thinks he was kidnapped when he went to buy bread.
“When he arrived there was no one else here at home.
“And the door was open.
“I am very worried, we are desperate.”
