An urban explorer visited a primary school that had been left completely abandoned since 2012.
Sean Piper is no stranger to abandoned sites, having previously made headlines visiting pubs, council estates and hoarder houses that have been reclaimed by time.
In one of his recent exploits, he uncovered an “eerie” abandoned school near Ashford, Kent, which has remained dormant since its closure in 2012.

“Abandoned schools always give such a sad, but eerie atmosphere,” Sean, from Kent, told What’s The Jam.
“It’s so unnatural for these long hallways to be so still and quiet.”
Imagery captured by the urban explorer shows classrooms covered in mould and damp, with some ceilings collapsing due to the decay.
Other shots show long, empty hallways illuminated by torchlight.
Sean said: “The most striking thing was the overgrowth.

“Every room had ivy growing through the window and into the classrooms or hallway floors.
“The floors were so damp that grass had begun growing inside!”
Sean, who visited the site recently, added: “I’d happily visit again for daytime exploring.

“We went in the dark, which added to the spook factor at least.”
Liden Grove Community Primary School shut after regional education restructuring.
The primary school, when it was open, was attended by pupils aged three to 11, and was replaced by John Wallis Church of England Academy.
