An expert cleaner has revealed the transformation of a hoarder home with a mattress rat’s nest and unknown toilet sludge.
Victoria Gordon is no stranger to getting her hands dirty and dealing with rodents, blood and mould.
That’s because she’s a biohazard cleaning specialist, tending to some of the worst hoarder homes and crime scenes in the UK.

She claims to have seen things that’ll “churn” the average person’s stomach.
Now, she’s used her skill to help a family clean out their beloved nan’s home after she passed away – with over 70 tonnes of waste removed.
The transformation has racked up over 2.1m views on TikTok.
“The house was one of the fullest I’ve ever seen,” Victoria, from Lincolnshire, told What’s The Jam.
“Some of the rooms were totally inaccessible and the doors were blocked high with stuff.

“The rooms you could enter had to either be climbed into or there was a small tunnel through.
“The bathroom hadn’t been accessible for years.
“There was a little toilet near the kitchen, but nowhere to wash.

“And the kitchen was full, so there wasn’t really anywhere to cook a meal – and the living room had no place to sit.
“In one of the bedrooms, there were tiny spaces in which the bunk beds she slept in were.
“And there was actually a rat’s nest in the mattress.
“It really was a case of doing things one step at a time.”
Victoria, who has tended to dozens of hoarder homes throughout her career, says the family had been estranged from the elderly woman for a number of years.
One of her daughters used to drop off food, but was never allowed inside.
And so nobody knew how severe the house was until she had passed away.
She said: “The family tried working on the home, but it got so overwhelming.
“They were aware she had hidden money inside CDs, books and other paperwork.
“It was also a task to find the deeds and will, so it was a very slow process.
“Over 70 tonnes of waste came out of the house.
“But the saddest thing was seeing the rats burrowing next to her bed.”
In one of the most viewed clips from the clean, racking up over 578,000 views and 10,000 likes, she reveals the before and after of the toilet.
Thick black sludge is shown stuck around the entire bowl.
She applies an industrial strength cleaner and uses a sharp tool to scrap it away.
A mint blue toilet is then revealed as the final product hiding beneath the muck, which ends up looking almost brand new.

Victoria has always loved keeping the space around her clean and tidy – and struggles to relax if it isn’t.
She says hoarder homes aren’t a case of people being messy, though, but rather signs someone is struggling.
Victoria said: “The issue is that over time, the more it escalates, the worst it gets to tackle.
“It becomes a vicious cycle.
“People start with keeping certain items that have an emotional connect and this spirals into them keeping everything – rubbish, rotten food, junk mail and even their own waste.
“In this case, the after effect it’s had on the family has been huge.
“They’ve all been having huge clear outs of their own houses and no longer want to hold onto items without any sentimental or monetary value.”
Victoria charges up to a few thousand for cleans such as this, which took around two weeks to complete.
She’s previously revealed spending 11 days cleaning another hoarder’s home and has even seen cases where people risked their own lives due to the amount of clutter.
