For a whopping £500,000 you can buy a garage in London, but there is one catch – there is no roof.
With the average London terraced house costing £827,000, prices are skyrocketing, leaving people desperate for a deal.
For that price, you might assume that said garage is right next to Buckingham Palace and you’d at least get to enjoy the likes of the Trooping the Colour, but that’s not the case.
Located way out in Zone Five, it is around 10 miles from Buckingham Palace in Zone One.

However, there are some small benefits – the garage is 0.3 miles from Edgware Underground Station, which provides “easy access” to central London.

Despite its large size, the prospective buyer will have to do a lot of weeding if they want to make it semi-vehicle friendly.
The only upside to the garage, which is being auctioned for a guide price of £500,000, is that it comes with planning permission for a three-storey office block.
So it’s likely a decent investment for someone, even if it’s a sight for sore eyes in its current state.

The garage’s description reads: “The property is well-connected with various transportation options.
“Edgware Underground Station is just a short walk away, providing easy access to central London via the Northern Line.
“Being situated on High Street, there is a wide range of amenities within a short distance.

“These include supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, post offices, and a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants.”
If this looks like your ideal investment opportunity, or perhaps a parking spot for an unusually tall vehicle that doesn’t require a roof, you can register to bid for the spot on the Benjamin Stevens auction website.
