An urban explorer checked out some very creepy looking abandoned hospitals whilst exploring Japan.
Ben Stevens described the find to be something “straight out of the video game series The Last of Us”.
The hospitals which the 30-year-old explored are located in Fukishima, Japan.
They have been left desolate since 2011, when the city suffered the devastating radioactive disaster which led to the town being evacuated.

Ben, from Cambride, Massachusetts, USA, captured the essence of the abandoned building through a series of unsettling images.
Wards filled with hospital beds still have plush toys of Mickey and Minnie Mouse left inside.
On some of the wards, pictures, including ones that look hand-drawn, have also been left on the walls.
“They were some of the best hospitals I’ve ever seen,” Ben told What’s The Jam.

“They are straight out of The Last of Us and felt very post-apocalyptic.
“It was insane to see how everything had been left for so many years frozen in time.”
“Everything from medicines and beds that were clearly left in a hurry, to peoples’ personal possessions.”

Chilling images also show dentures, dental tools, and refreshments that have all remained at the hospital.
One picture even shows baby bottles that are still filled with milk, and trays with leftover food on them.
Since the disaster 13 years ago, nobody really goes back to the area, and so things remain very much as they were.
Ben said: “I love exploring because it’s like your own personal museum that no one else has really been inside.”
“The hospitals are in Fukushima which suffered the devastating radioactive disaster in 2011 so the whole town was evacuated and never came back.
“The Japanese are big believers of bad spirits so they keep away, but these places feel very sad and quite creepy.”
Viewers were fascinated by a post which Ben shared online about his visit to the abandoned hospital.
One user commented: “Very interesting pictures.”
Another person wrote: “I thought the Mickey was creepy… then I saw Minnie…”
“Abandoned hospitals creep me out, great photos,” penned a third user.
Someone else said: “Something about abandoned stuffed animals triggers both my inner child scary and adult creepy.”
“Seeing places like this makes me so sad for some reason. I always wonder why they don’t clear it out and sell it or why the local government doesn’t repurpose the space,” said another viewer.
Ben was in Japan at the time exploring various different Locations, and also checked out an abandoned casino located in Fukushima.
He is planning on heading over to the USA next to explore some abandoned funeral homes.
