The incredible top picks from the 2025 Best Destination Photo competition for weddings have been revealed.

The competition, hosted by Junebug Weddings, received thousands of images submitted from photographers all over the world.

And finally the results are in, with the top 50 spots shared.

From snow-capped mountains to golden beaches, the winning photographs highlight not only the creativity of wedding photographers worldwide but also the growing trend of couples choosing striking destinations to mark their big day.

In one image, a couple can be seen skiing down a slope styling a bridal gown and suit holding bottles of champagne, shot in Zermatt, Switzerland.

In another, a bride and groom are photographed standing among beautiful scenery in Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland.

Another stunning photograph was taken in Madeira, Portugal, shot in black and white and featuring a couple under a tree and amongst dark brambles.

Meanwhile another wedding took place in Oaxaca, Mexico among a festival, and shows the two grooms getting into the celebrations and carrying baskets on their heads.

Elsewhere, two brides were photographed in Mount Baker, Washington, US – the third-highest mountain in Washington and the fifth-highest in the Cascade Range – offering a beautiful setting.

Another duo were snapped in Budapest, Hungary with an amazing image showing them kissing while standing on a platform by a moving train.

One incredible image shows a couple driving an open-top, red car along the roads of Positano, Amalfi, Italy, while the bride sits on the boot with her veil flowing in the wind.

A wedding in Vietnam saw one newlywed couple photographed atop a floating raft made of bamboo and decorated with floral arrangements and lanterns.

Images of one couple were also taken in White Sands National Park, New Mexico, US, and shows the newlyweds walking along the crisp white sand from a distance.

Another finalist shows a couple shot under the Northern Lights in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, with the two seen holding each other while surrounded by mountains and trees.

One entry was photographed from an ice cave in Iceland, showing the happy couple at the end, overlooking the mountains.

Additional photos include ones taken in Mexico, Oregon, Turkey, Alaska, Fiji, New Zealand, Hungary, Tuscany and even among The Dolomites.

Junebug Weddings’ Destination Photography Contest celebrates the fusion of breathtaking destinations with the love between couples.

A spokesperson told What’s The Jam: “We focus not just on the journey, but on how each photo captures the beauty of both the location and the couple, seamlessly blending them into a single work of art.

“If you’re looking to feature visually stunning, feel-good content for your audience, this collection offers a perfect opportunity to showcase how love is expressed across the globe.”
