A desperate dog owner has claimed that a Virgin Mary statue healed his sick pooch when all hope seemed lost.
Arturo said his beloved pooch Snoppy (corr) contracted an infection that left him “very sick” in May.
He took his beloved pooch to see a vet but was told that he may not respond well to the treatment.

Fearing the worst, Arturo prayed to Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe, a Catholic title for the Virgin Mary in Mexico.
He vowed to visit her statue at the Diocesan Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe – a Gothic revival cathedral, in Zamora, west of Mexico City – if his dog made a full recovery.
After the dog was seemingly healed by Arturo’s prayer, he called it a “miracle” and took Snoppy to visit the Virgin’s statue last Thursday (12 December), the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
He explained: “In May, my Snoppy got an infection and we didn’t know what it was.
“The vet said they would admit him, but they didn’t know how he would react or if he would tolerate the medication.

“He was very sick.
“The day we admitted him, I prayed a lot to the Virgin of Guadalupe.
“I asked her to heal him and promised that once he was healthy, we would take him to see her.

“And here we are, fulfilling the promise for my baby.”
Arturo shared a video of the family visit to the cathedral on TikTok where it went viral with 2M views and over 5,500 comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
He called the video: “The Miracle of Snoppy.”
One local said: “Crying! Thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for helping that baby get better.”
Adriana wrote: “Hold on to everything that fills you with faith and hope.”
Alejandra commented: “My 15-year-old dog had to have surgery and it was risky because of her age so I asked the Virgin if she could help and guess who walked out of the clinic at 6 am…”
Paola remarked: “I entrusted my dog to the Virgin when he was run over. The vet was shocked that he saved his life, and since then his name has been Chato Guadalupe.”
Flor said: “Miracles do exist. I lost my dog once and I asked Saint Anthony to help me find him. Then a miracle happened.”
