A koala has been dubbed “mum of the year” after she stunned zoo visitors by carrying two joeys on her back at once.
The confident parent walked across a tree branch with her kids piled on top of each other, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The adorable moment was captured at an Australian zoo and shared online where viewers praised the mum as “amazing” and “strong”.

While koalas usually raise one joey at a time, this super mum is handling double the load with ease.
And the joeys, who were seen clinging tightly to their mum’s thick fur, have become a favourite among visitors.
Koalas are considered to be vulnerable in parts of Australia and zoo breeding programmes are vital to their conservation.
This touching sight has captured hearts and highlighted the quiet strength of mums in the wild.
