A pet snake was reunited with his family after travelling 40 miles for a fast food snack.
An employee at the In-N-Out chain was stunned by the sheer size of the reptile as it slithered through the drive-thru.
The python – later discovered to be a pet snake named Henry – weighed 3.6lbs and stretched an estimated three to four feet long.

The worker called animal rescue volunteers to safely collect the reptile on 29 September and it was taken to Pasadena Humane.
Staff at the shelter initially appealed online for the owner to come forward, placing the snake on a stray hold after it was found in Monrovia, California.
Just two days later, on 1 October, a family came rushing to claim Henry.
A relative had recognised the reptile after spotting him on TV at work – and revealed the pet had been missing since 11 August after escaping from their home.
When the family arrived at the shelter, an identical match was made and Henry was finally reunited with her loved ones.

Exactly how the female snake managed to make the 40-mile journey from San Bernadino to Monrovia remains a mystery – but the shelter confirmed the story had a happy ending.

Kammy said: “Henry must have climbed into a truck or car took a little ride.”

Natalie added: “Must’ve of hitch hiked.”
Christine added:” Maybe she did a Houdini and went into someone’s bag and hitched a ride with someone in their car and escaped in Monrovia. It was very fortunate that all worked in her favor and she was reunited with her family!!!”

“Omg I would have had a heart attack if I encountered that!,” added someone else.
Someone else said: “They are the sweetest snakes, they won’t hurt anyone.”
“That’s what a hamburger is all about,” joked another person.
