A hapless sheep has been rescued by specialist abseilers after getting trapped on a perilous ledge for days.
Incredible video shows the team battling to free the animal from danger.
The alarm was raised by a farmer who reported that one of his ewes was stranded.

Arrochar Mountain Rescue was called out to the scene near the Loch Sloy hydro-electric dam in Argyll, Scotland
Two team members harnessed and suspended the ewe from a winch cable and lowered her to safety.
The sheep was then successfully reunited with her flock, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Yesterday (5 May), an Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team spokesperson said: “Technical resc-ewe near the Loch Sloy Dam this morning.
“The farmer requested our assistance because his sheep had been stranded for a couple of days and he was becoming increasingly worried about the animal’s welfare.

“We’re delighted to report the exhausted sheep is now safely re-ewe-nited with her flock.”
Local, Sophie Wells, joked: “Ewe are wonderful people.”

Allison Ellis quipped: “Ewe certainly get some interesting rescues.”
