Incredible footage shows relaxed Chaya and Ludovic swooping across the Swiss Alps while strapped to a harness.

Ludovic, from Annemasse, northeast of Lyon, France, said: “It’s so fun.

“It’s a different way of sharing an experience with your dog and getting a better connection to her.

“Chaya is so easygoing and accepts a lot of things that we make her do.

“It’s what I like doing. I like climbing up mountains and going down by paragliding. It’s my passion

“Now she can follow me everywhere. it’s also really funny when we’re above a field of cows and she’s barking at them.’

Adrenaline junkie Ludovic has completed more than 300 leaps and wants to be able to take Chaya with him every time, reports What’s The Jam.

Ludovic said: “There’s still work to do and she’s only one so there’s room for learning more.

“So far the maximum flight Is 15 minutes so I’ll keep training her. It takes time and consistency.

“For training, I need specific conditions such as quiet weather.

“I want to do these activities all year long with her being as free as possible.”

Ludovic and Marie trained Chaya by putting her in the harness to let her get used to the feel of it.

They specifically chose Chaya’s breed when they picked their new pup as they knew they’d want to take her paragliding,

Marie, from Geneva, Switzerland, said: “We chose the dog based on paragliding.

“We wanted a dog that would be able to go paragliding with Ludovic.

“We wanted a short legged dog that would be carried and would be sporty.

“We trained her before by putting her in the harness so she could get used to the sensation.

“The first time, she was agitated because her legs were wiggling but then she got comfortable.

“She doesn’t have to do anything because Ludovic carries her.

“It is hard to see if she enjoys it but you can tell from their body language if they don’t want to do something.

Marie reckons that Chaya is a daredevil and loves being in the sky with her owner.

She said: “We take her paragliding, kayaking and skiing.

“She’s a daredevil. If she didn’t want to go then we would know. She has the power to tell us.

“Ludovic makes sure that she isn’t too nervous.

“I don’t think dogs have a concept of heights but we took her in a ski lift to make sure she wasn’t scared of them.”
