An adorable cat has become a social media sensation thanks to his cartoon-like appearance.
Fedya the cat was born with crossed eyes due to a facial condition, leading to his rather startled appearance.
The four-year-old moggie was adopted by owner, Natalya Zhdanova, 42, who started an Instagram page documenting his adorable escapades – with the account now boasting 311,000 followers.
“I didn’t notice that he had any unusual appearance – he just seemed cute and funny to me,” Natalya, from Rostov-on-Don, Russia, told What’s The Jam.

“But my friends and acquaintances told me that this cat must be shown to the world.
“I am a modest person, an introvert, and becoming a blogger was very difficult for me.
“But as soon as I realized that Fedya brings joy and smiles to people, I realised that I had found my favourite thing in this.
“Of course, I am pleased that many people love Fedya and that they understand and accept my work in the form of humorous videos.”

Natalya shares funny clips of the cat’s day-to-day life, adding: “Fedya looks like a small child.
“He is as naive and clumsy as a child.”
The moggie has won over thousands of hearts on Instagram in posts that regularly go viral.

In one video, he appears to be ‘meditating’, staring intensely at a hanging circle that spins in front of him, with the post garnering 194,000 likes.
Another hilarious clip shows Fedya sitting in a cardboard box, alongside another of Natalya’s cats.
One video shows the “clumsy” kitty trying to clamber out of a tiny gap underneath a cupboard, racking up 111,000 likes.
One person commented on a snap of the cat: “It’s a cartoon cat!”
“That face makes him/her even more adorable,” said another fan.
Another user added: “Fedya, you are not like everyone else and that’s great.”
