An expert was stunned after finding a monster wasp nest with over 10,000 insects in a loft.
The four-foot wide by four-foot deep structure was discovered by Paul Claydon.
The pest expert had been called out by concerned homeowners.

They kept finding wasps in their bedroom but didn’t know why.
But Paul, who runs a pest removal business, traced the insects to the loft of the property in Epping, Essex.
He said the nest was the biggest he’d ever seen.
“The owners were finding wasps in their bedroom each morning,” Paul told Whats The Jam.
“They were waking up to wasps on the windows.
“It’s always a bad sign.
“I checked the house and from the outside I could see the wasps flying into a hole on the roof pitch.
“In those situations you kind of just follow your nose.
“It was clear the entry point led to the loft.
“So I opened the loft hatch and the thing was staring at me
“The owners couldn’t believe it.
“It’s the biggest one I’ve seen.
“There must have been over 10,000 wasps in it.
“It took me about two hours to treat it.
“It’s about two weeks since treatment.
“I’m popping back there soon to see if I can get the dead nest out of the loft.”
