Thrill-seeking Brits can soar 315ft above a festive wonderland at speeds of up to 60mph as the UK’s only flying Christmas light trail is set to return.
Night Flights will see visitors hurtled through the darkness on a 2,165ft-long zip wire while looking down upon the illuminated Eden Project.
Instead of strolling beneath twinkling decorations, daredevil guests are strapped face-down into a harness before being launched across the Cornish attraction.

Video footage shows riders flying high above its glowing biomes, which appear beneath them like giant illuminated bubbles, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The experience uses Hangloose Adventure’s Skywire, described by the company as England’s fastest zip line.
It stands 96 metres—or 315ft—above the ground and stretches for 660 metres across the Eden Project site.
Flights can be completed alone or side-by-side, allowing couples, friends and family members to race over the festive display.
More than 500 people braved the experience when Night Flights ran last year.
It will return on selected evenings from 20 November until 2 January, with sessions generally taking place from Friday to Sunday and additional dates available over Christmas.
Rides will operate between 5pm and 7.30pm, with the closing time extended to 8pm from 27 December.
Night Flights will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Tickets cost £38.67 per person, although two can currently be purchased together for £60.
The attraction is open to visitors aged eight and above, with riders required to weigh at least 30kg.
Those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground can watch from designated viewing areas.
Everyone completing the flight will also receive a complimentary hot chocolate to warm up afterwards, while parking and lockers are available free of charge.
Brian Phelps, managing director of Hangloose Adventure, said: “Night Flights are a completely different way to experience the Eden Project at Christmas.
“You get all the atmosphere of the festive season, but rather than walking through a light trail, you’re flying above it at 60mph.
“It’s not every day you get to see the Eden Project from 96 metres in the air.
“We’re really looking forward to kick-starting the Christmas festivities and welcoming visitors back to the skies.”
Hangloose Adventure also operates high ropes courses, freefall jumps and giant swings at its locations at the Eden Project and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
