A ‘pawsome’ pops is celebrating Father’s Day in style after welcoming his third set of rare leopard cubs.

Super dad Drake is now raising his new spotted sports, making it his third set of Amur leopard younglings.

The father-of-four is helping to save the world’s most endangered species of big cats.

First introduced to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in 2012, the leopards are part of a strategic international breeding programme.

His two latest cubs spent the first two months of their lives inside a den at the park.

Lucky punters celebrating the special day will be able to have a glimpse at the youngsters this weekend (14-15 June).

A livestream on a screen at the park will give visitors – whose dads get in for free – a unique view of the extremely rare cubs.

Drake will also be present with the 13-year-old mother of his cubs, Kristen, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The baby leopards, who were born in April, will soon be leaving their den to explore the world.

Dr. Charlotte MacDonald, director of animals at the park, said: “The cubs are only the second and third cubs of their species to be born in the world this year and so they really represent a symbol of hope for Amur leopards.

“Cubs only weigh 2 to 3 kilos when born and will spend their first two months in the den inside the house at Leopard Heights.

“Drake is proving again to be a great dad.

“So far, everything is going smoothly, and we’re keeping them under constant supervision.

“The pair are definitely more playful now, much to the delight of visitors who can see live cam footage of them on a special screen at Leopard Heights.”
