A man who tattooed a red vine across his forehead has revealed how much it really hurt.
Artist August Chupakabra has always loved inking himself up.
The 27-year-old’s skill built up over time – and he has now drawn on his face, hands, arms, neck and fingers.

His latest addition is a red vine right across his forehead, which involved a stencil and excruciating pain.
“I love tattoos and what they represent visually,” August, a tattoo artist from Poznań, Poland, told What’s The Jam.
“My relationship with tattooing comes in waves.
“There are periods when I get tattooed very intensively, followed by months where I don’t get any new tattoos at all.
“I honestly don’t know the exact number of how many I have all together, I’ve never counted them.”
And they’ve cost August “almost nothing”.
He explained: “Most of my tattoos were done through exchanges, practice, or personal projects.
“It is also hard to put a number on the amount of hours put into them all together.
“Some sessions take around five hours, others only 30 minutes – it really varies.”
Asked what made him want to tattoo his own forehead, he said: “I wanted to rework an old tattoo and at the same time add something new by introducing colour.
“So I added a red vine and it took around two hours.
“The pain was about an eight out of 10.
“I enjoyed doing it because it was interesting and fun but sometimes I don’t enjoy it, because it is also painful.
“To anyone wanting to do the same – good luck.”
In a video, August can be seen popping the tattoo stencil on his head and making sure it is in place.
He then checks it out before getting started with a tattoo gun and drawing the vine.
August finally adds cream to the art, as well as a plastic cover to protect it, and looks in the mirror.
Images also show August with his forehead tattoos all in grey, before the new one.
Two hours, an 8/10 on the pain scale, and a forehead forever changed – art clearly knows no boundaries.
