Christmas dinner has officially made it to the lunchtime meal deal.
Family-run bakery chain Wenzel’s has unveiled its festive menu, headlined by a Pigs in Blanket Hot Baguette.
The seasonal sarnie, priced at £5.95, turns one of the best-loved parts of the Christmas dinner plate into a hot lunchtime bite.

It’s joined by a new Gingerbread Latte, available hot or iced for £3.25, with oat milk at no extra cost.
But it’s the mince pie fans who may be the most excited.
The bakery has launched a brand-new Almond Mince Pie, described as “almond croissant meets Christmas mince pie”.
It takes the traditional festive favourite and tops it with an almond frangipane.
The classic mince pie is also back, in packs of two and four, alongside a Mince Pie Roll and a 12-pack for £17.95 aimed at office parties and family gatherings.
Elsewhere on the counter, shoppers will find Christmas Donuts, sold individually or in a box of three for £3.99, and Snowman Cupcakes at £2.50.
There’s also a Gingerbread Jumper for £1.95, iced with Christmas jumper designs featuring Santa, Rudolph, a penguin and a robin.
Later in the season, the jumpers will be swapped for Gingerbread Trees at the same price.
Rounding off the range are Christmas Cornflake Cakes at £1.75 each and a Christmas Cookie, a chocolate cookie finished with festive icing, for £1.95.
The menu lands in Wenzel’s bakeries from 5th November and will be available for a limited eight-week period.
Wenzel’s was founded by Peter Wenzel in North West London in 1975.
It has since grown from a single neighbourhood bakery to more than 100 stores.
The business is still run by the Wenzel family, with cakes baked and decorated daily at its central bakery in Watford before heading out to shops.
