Dior has been mocked for selling pricey surf gear including a £9,300 surfboard.
It is part of the French fashion house’s surf collection alongside a £3,000 wetsuit.
The designer brand teamed up with surfboard maker Notox to create the lavish wave rider.
The grey board features a large navy blue Dior signature across the top.

The surfboard listing reads: “Dior unveils an exclusive collaboration with the French brand Notox, presenting a surfboard that combines technical expertise, couture spirit and respect for the environment.
”Handcrafted in the heart of the Basque Country, Europe’s surf capital, the board is made from responsible local resources like organic materials and a low-solvent resin that demonstrates Dior and Notox’s shared commitment to the environment and oceans.
”The style is available in elegant matte grey and is embellished with the Dior signature and a motif that celebrates the bewitching beauty of the aquatic world, an underwater snapshot revisited in an oversized interpretation on the top.
”The progressive shape of the board guarantees performance under any condition, while its Diamond tail eases manoeuvrability through waves.
”Accompanied by a set of accessories including two fins, a leash, a cover and a display stand, the board can be paired with Dior and Vissla wetsuits.
