Meet the woman who is both a death metal singer and Miss Chile contestant.
Ignacia Fernández is representing her hometown of Los Dominicos in this year’s pageant.
But she is also in a death metal band.

The 25-year-old is the lead singer and vocalist of the group called Decessus.
She is accompanied by guitarist Carlos Palma and drummer Martín Fenix.
The band, founded in 2020, is well known for its heavy metal tunes including Dying Hope Blossoms and Deliverance, as reported on What’s The Jam.
The group has also had three singles, including ‘My War of Pain,’ which was released last year and was edited by Chilean rapper NFX.
She will compete for the crown of Miss Chile, in order to then represent her country in Miss Universe 2024.

She is among other women from Chile, with amazing skills, including Emilia Dides who is a war pilot representing Vitacura.
Regarding her candidacy for the beauty pageant, the young woman has been invited to various interviews, where she was not ashamed to demonstrate her vocal ability for this musical genre.
Proclaiming herself a role as a model, she also claims that it is not something completely new to her, since she has worked with national and international brands and is part of the Elite Model Chile agency.
