A model has paid £36,000 for labiaplasty surgery and says it’s left her feeling “like a new woman”.
Larissa Sumpani, who is the reigning Miss BumBum champion 2024, began looking into the surgery after not feeling happy with her labia for some time.
The 24-year-old, who has recently lost weight, noticed the skin on her vulva had become very thin.

A labiaplasty is surgery to reduce the size of the labia minora – the flaps of skin either side of the vaginal opening.
“My labia wasn’t the right size and it always bothered me,” Larissa, who has 510,000 followers, (@eusumpani ), told What’s The Jam.
“I lost a lot of weight at the gym too and noticed that it became very thin around my vulva.
“I decided I needed to add some fat to them to give them a more harmonious volume.”
The surgery can help reduce discomfort during physical activities, when wearing tight clothing and during sexual intercourse.

Patients are recommended to consider the risks and consult a doctor, who may refer them to a psychologist or counsellor if the reason for the surgery is aesthetic.
Larissa said: “I was a little anxious and apprehensive.
“I was also afraid the scar wouldn’t heal well.

“Aside from that, the feeling was one of fulfilment.
“Having the labiaplasty was a long-held dream.”
Larrisa had the surgery on 29 April and it cost £36,000.
She said: “At first, it was a hard recovery process.
“But after a week, everything was fine.
“The intimate area is uncomfortable for urinating in the first few days and also for sitting.
“It becomes very swollen and bruised but after a few days it got better.
“I am much more confident and satisfied with myself.
“I like what I see in the mirror.
“It turned out exactly as I wanted, symmetrical on the inside and soft on the outside.
“I am very happy.”
