An aspiring influencer has broken her spine while attempting a viral challenge.
Young mum Mariana Barutkina said the accident happened while she was filming her first-ever video as a digital creator – just weeks after she had given birth.
The 32-year-old attempted the Nicki Minaj High School Challenge, which is currently taking social media by storm.

The online trend is based on the Trinidadian rapper’s music video for her 2013 hit High School.
In one scene, Minaj poses next to a swimming pool with one leg resting on top of the other while carefully balancing in high heels.
Online users have been recreating the pose in a number of creative ways, usually involving balancing on top of an object at the same time.

Mariana attempted the challenge while perched on top of a tub of baby formula.
The clip showed the wannabe influencer balancing in heels on top of the container while holding a friend’s hand.

The tub itself was positioned on top of a saucepan that was placed on the surface of a kitchen island.
When she let go of her pal’s hand, Mariana fell backwards with a look of fear etched across her face.
The blunder resulted in a trip to the local hospital.

“The first content shoot, and here I am leaving the doctor’s with a diagnosis of a Th9 compression bending uncomplicated fracture.
“Irony? Karma? Or just life, which always tests our strength at the most unexpected moment?”
The Russian mum, who gave birth to her second child, Oscar, in mid-June, said in an update: “I’m doing great, following the recommendations, and now living in the status of a ‘star’.”
She also explained that her children were with a nanny when she filmed the dangerous stunt.
The clip went viral with 525,000 views and hundreds of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “I bet the baby’s dad is re-evaluating his choices.”

Theresa added: “How do you say imbecile in Russian?”
“I’m always amazed at what people will do for the sake of trends,” remarked Nastya.
Lisa added: “This is the dumbest ‘challenge’.”

Dee joked: “Meanwhile, the baby is still waiting for his bottle.”
