A woman’s pout tripled in size after a lip dissolving treatment went horribly wrong.
Thais Ledru had booked the treatment after noticing her old filler had started to migrate – when dermal filler moves away from its original injection site, causing a swollen or unnatural appearance.
The 25-year-old was excited to have her old lips back, but the procedure quickly turned into a nightmare – an ordeal she shared on TikTok, racking up over 86,400 views.

“My filler was starting to migrate so I wanted to dissolve the old work and refill my lips,” Thais, an office manager from Toronto, Canada, told What’s The Jam.
“Getting the dissolving was okay, it felt slightly painful and my lips immediately swelled up.
“It looked like an allergic reaction.
“But once I left the clinic, the swelling continued for about another 48 hours.
“I wasn’t so much in pain but definitely uncomfortable due to the skin being so stretched.”

In her video, Thais shows her lips lying down, from the side, and standing up – bright red and hugely enlarged.
By the end, the swelling had started to go down but her lips were still inflamed.
She captioned the clip: “Pleaseee lip filler dissolving is a no from me.”

Fans flooded the video with reactions.

Thais says she is now okay, with her lips thankfully back to normal.
