A mum has revealed how she shed four stone in four months with a simple hack – and it has nothing to do with skinny jabs.
Abbie Lodge turned to unhealthy eating habits after becoming a mum-of-two.
She relied on crisps, sugary drinks and £200-per-month takeaways to get her through the day.

At her heaviest, the 34-year-old weighed 14st 7lbs and wore a UK size 14.
After seeing a family holiday video – and getting a reality check from her doctors – Abbie knew something needed to change.
And by doing one simple thing each day, she’s been able to lose four stone in just four months.
“I was in a constant cycle of ‘trying to be good’ then the smallest thing would happen and I’d spiral out of control,” the weight loss coach, from Essex, told What’s The Jam.

“I numbed myself with food much like an alcoholic or drug addict would numb [themselves] with their substance of choice.

“I used to drink three to four litres of full-fat cherry Coke per day, live on crisps and chocolate and eat takeaways.”
The mum, who was pre-diabetic, joined the 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan in October 2021.
The programme focuses on meal replacement and structured eating.

With that, alongside healthy eating and exercise, Abbie quickly saw a difference.
But the real change happened when she swapped out the cherry Coke for water – drinking three to four litres of it per day.
It’s left the mum now weighing 10st 7lbs and wearing a UK dress size 10.
She said: “My secret solution to long-term weight loss and maintenance is drinking water.

“I now drink three to four litres per day and live a normal, balanced, healthy lifestyle.
“Nothing is off-limits – I’ve learnt the balance.
“Although there have been big physical changes, the biggest change has been the mental load becoming lighter.
“I am no longer ruled by food; I am no longer a prisoner to food.”
