Medics were stunned when they examined her and found the space between her eyeballs and eyelids crawling with them.
In a delicate procedure, they removed more than 40 live worms from her right eye and over 10 from her left.
In total, more than 60 parasites were removed from her eyes, local media report.
Dr Guan, who carried out the procedure, said the sheer number of parasites made the patient a rare case.
Medics believe she was infected with roundworms of the Filarioidea type.

The infection is typically transmitted through fly bites.
However, the woman believes she more likely contracted it from cats or dogs carrying the infectious larvae on their bodies.
She believes she may have touched the animals and rubbed her eyes straight afterward.

Medics have told her to return for regular check-ups, as residual larvae may have been left behind.
They also reminded her she should always wash her hands straight after touching pets.
A few roundworm species are known to settle on the conjunctiva of the eye.
They are more commonly found in Africa than in China.
They are usually associated with inflammation but can cause blindness in some cases.
