A man who spent £5,000 on a hair transplant was left shocked after his face swelled up following the procedure.
Dylan Wagner had struggled with his receding hairline for a while and it eventually got so bad that he would only leave the house if he was wearing a hat.
The final straw came when the Londoner started to get comments on his disappearing locks.

The content creator decided to book himself in for a hair transplant at a local clinic, sharing the experience with his 25,700 followers.
But the recovery process was more than a little rough.
“When I looked in the mirror after my surgery, I thought ‘what the f**k have I done to myself,” he told What’s The Jam.
“My face had swelled.
“It was very unexpected but I was told it was going to happen.

“I just didn’t expect it to be as dramatic as it was.
“The whole recovery period was also awful, especially as I had either little or no sleep, with nothing to do.”
Dylan’s family and friends reacted with mixed emotions when he told them about his plans to get a transplant.

He said: “My family hated the idea at first, they saw cosmetic surgery as a complete waste of money and completely unnecessary.
“My friends were certainly a lot more supportive but I was still told how long the process would be and [asked] if it was really worth such a long journey.
“However, within a few months both my friends and my family said it [the new look] suited me, and they agreed that getting a transplant was a great idea, with a drastically improved hairline.”
Dylan’s confidence skyrocketed and he found himself leaving the house more and more every day.
He said: “I’ve always been very outgoing and extroverted.
“This has changed not just my confidence on the outside, but on the inside as well.
“I would go through it all again and more to keep the confidence I have [now].
“My friends have complimented me over how good the hairline looks in comparison to how bad it was, but the average person has no idea I had it done.”
In Dylan’s opinion, cosmetic surgery is only something he’d recommend as a “last resort”.
He added: “I can completely understand why men who have lost or are losing their hair would want this done.”
Dylan also shared a video of his transplant to Instagram, where the video has gathered over 104,000 views.
In the clip, he can be seen posing to the camera as he shows off his current locks.
He then inserts an image of his bald head before the transplant, which also shows the facial swelling.
The post was captioned: “Hair transplant facial swelling is brutal,” and has gained over 500 likes as well as tones of comments from users.
