An “enraged” shopper has slammed an online seller after purchasing a Christmas jumper that she thought had 3D beads – which actually turned out to be plastic print.
Christina Mitsi bought the festive sweatshirt for £12.57 through a TikTok users’s shop and planned to wear it on Christmas Day.
The 36-year-old claims the website image of the black jumper appeared to have a Santa on the front with 3D beads and jewels forming its beard.

It is worth noting that the ad doesn’t mention 3D beads.
Christina was left fuming when her package arrived and she realised this was just an elaborate print.
The content creator took a video of herself modelling the disappointing knit and shared it on TikTok, where it has racked up more than 42,000 views.
“I was enraged,” Christina, from Manchester, told What’s the Jam.
“I’m a fashion influencer so I’m always looking for affordable fashion to share with my followers.
“Everyone needs a good Christmas jumper and I thought this one seemed fantastic value for what it was.
“The embroidery looked amazing.
“All the pearl beads for Santa’s beard and the lovely sequins, I thought it would be so different from the standard knitted versions you see every year.
“The jumper in the image was all black with Santa’s face on the front, his beard made of pearls, beads and sequins and his hat of lovely red embellishments.
“When I saw the print, I thought ‘how could they have fooled me like this?’.
“I should have known better.
“I’ll absolutely be returning it because I want my £12 back.”
The angry shopper has compared the product to a “cheap school jumper”.
Online, the product is described as a “women’s Christmas Santa Claus print drop shoulder sweatshirt, casual long sleeve round neck pullover for fall and winter”.
Christina said: “In the flesh, the jumper looks like a shiny, cheap school jumper with a sticker of Santa’s face on the front.
“It’s like one you get made on your local market for a hen do.
“What is this? Absolute state of that.
“It’s not even like, ‘Oh yes, I’ll wear it anyway, it’s fine. No, I won’t.’
“This looks as cheap and horrible as it feels.
“It’s like a school jumper. Like the worst of the worst.”
She does offer one positive note, adding: “It’s fleecy and warm inside.”
Social media users have come out in droves to thank Christina for her honest review.
Juliet Mansfield said: “I nearly got this. So glad I’ve seen this.”
Donna Little wrote: “I’m so glad you showed this jumper. I’ve been looking at it myself to buy. I won’t bother now. Thanks.”
Stacey joked: “Add some beads and glitter yourself and Gok Wan it.”
A fourth person said: “t was 12 quid. You get what you pay for.”
Denny added: “It does say on the description.”
Christina is now on a mission to find a different jumper for the festive season.
She added: “I genuinely thought this would be good and have all the pearls and glitter and everything but no, it’s just a picture that’s stuck on.
“It’s absolutely vile.
“You won’t find a link below because no way would I encourage you to buy this absolute load of rubbish.
“I’m now going to have to look elsewhere for the perfect, affordable Christmas jumper.”
Jam Press has contacted TikTok Shop for comment.
