A luxury boat became stranded on a sand dune after crashing into S’Espalmador, a small islet between Ibiza and Formentera in the Spanish Balearic Islands.
The bow of the 59-foot-long Pershing 54 was left hanging over the beach, creating a dramatic scene.

When they arrived, they found two crew members on the marooned vessel, both unharmed. Consequently, the rescue helicopter was called off.
The crew members chose to stay with the damaged boat rather than be transferred to Ibiza. They had already arranged for a private company to handle the removal of the vessel.
Authorities cordoned off the area to keep onlookers from approaching the speedboat.
The Formentera government issued a 48-hour deadline for the boat’s owner to remove all potential contaminants, such as fuel and power batteries.
They also mandated the complete removal of the wreckage within 72 hours to prevent environmental damage. These directives were reported by Luxury Boat News..
