Amy Clarke was left seething after her tasty treat fell face down onto the floor as she just arrived back home to eat it.

The 28-year-old popped out to Greggs to pick up some lunch and was waiting for the piping hot pizza slice to cool down.

While approaching her front door, the item fell from her grip and landed face down.
The £2.40 cheese and tomato slice got a new topping of gravel and dirt when it hit the ground.
Amy, who could not believe her back luck, marched on towards her front door, leaving the slice on the floor outside her home in Hartlepool, County Durham.
Her Ring doorbell camera captured the disappointing moment on Sunday (29 Jun).
And after leaving the item on the drive, an opportunistic seagull wasted no time in nabbing the free lunch.

“I was angry but upset because I was literally so hungry,” Amy told What’s The Jam.

“I popped out for a Greggs but it was way too hot to eat so I kept it until I got home.
“Annoyingly I dropped the pizza slice face down, so it was inedible as the cheese had grass and stones in it.

“My parents and friends thought it was funny but couldn’t understand why I didn’t pick it up and eat it.
“Literally 20 seconds after I dropped it, a seagull swooped down and ate it.”
