A woman was left stunned after finding a snake wrapped around a ceiling fan – moments before the reptile was catapulted directly at her.
The clip, shot by Lupe Garcia, has racked up over 93 million views on social media.
In the video, the animal can be seen tightly curled around the top, as she films from a seemingly safe distance.
The curious reptile then attempts to climb down, but can’t get past the rapidly-revolving fan blades.

It is whacked in the head a few times before the animal loses its balance and topples off from the ceiling fixture.
Shockingly, the snake is then catapulted towards the camera – with Lupe shrieking in shock and darting outside.
Lupe, better known as ‘Lupita Sheila’, later shares the video to TikTok, where the bizarre moment has left users stunned – with over 140,000 comments.
In fact, the clip has gone so viral, that Lupe, originally from Mexico, but now living in Alabama, US, calls herself “the girl who went viral because of a snake”.
She says she was surprised that the snake actually survived the incident.
