TV wine expert Luca Dusi was spotted driving with his wife’s birthday cake on the roof of his car.
Mathew Sawyer saw it on top of the black Audi while he was on the upper deck of a bus.
The tattooist, known as Woozy Machine, filmed Sunday Brunch’s Luca and his spouse driving by.

He said: “Holy s*it, there’s a cake on top of that car.
“They’ve bought a cake, they’ve put it on the roof and they’ve driven off.
“No one else has noticed, it’s just me and the cake.
“No one seems to care. I care.
“This is the best day of my life. This is brilliant.”

Luca, who is founder of Shoreditch based Italian wine bar and shop Passione Vino and regularly appears on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
The wine specialist said it was a crostata bought for his wife’s birthday and it was still intact.
Luca said: “That was us.

“But relax, the cake made it safely to its destination.
“Audi suspensions are cake safe.”
Luca said that he’d assumed the other driver’s honking at him to try and alert him to the cake had road rage.
“I could not be more fortunate to have you recording live, the narrowly missed tragedy.
“Confusion post caffeine intake while loading kids and car.
“Unaware of it, it’s live coverage, and in spite of all checks, we drove from N8 to nearly the A406 where a plumber took us over shouting at us from his van.
“Road rage I thought, weekend saver it was.
“You made my day.
“Safely stored, the cakes then enjoyed the two hours drive to the destination.
“Shortly after arrival, and with an unexpected popularity, they were eaten enjoyed and blessed by all and for a while more celebrated than the birthday boy himself.
“Anybody knows the plumber please pass my mist sincere thank you for saving us from tragedy.
“And most likely endless discussions.
“Maybe a short life, at times turbulent, uncertain perhaps but sweet indulgent luscious end to be remembered by us all as our most lucky Crostata.
“In our memories forever.”
