Tinchy Stryder left a fan feeling awkward after the man failed to recognise him.
Kwasi Esono Danquah III, better known as Tinchy Stryder, seems to have been forgotten – even by his own followers.
The 38-year-old bumped into a member of the public at a garage, and the pair struck up a conversation.

The fan joked that Tinchy “looks like your age”, prompting the rapper to play along – acting clueless as he asked about the musician’s nationality and any songs he might know.
Unfortunately, Archie, the fan, couldn’t name any of the star’s tunes.
Tinchy then revealed that he was, in fact, the musician in question.
And he suggested that Archie hadn’t recognised him without his trademark shades.
Footage of the encounter was shared on the rapper’s social media on Monday (18 August), as reported by What’s The Jam.

Tinchy said: “What’s his name?”
Archie replied: “Tinchy Stryder.”
Tinchy responded: “Oh, American guy?”

Archie said: “Er no I think he’s English, you know.”
Tinchy said: “Is he, damn, what’s that song of his that I might’ve heard before?”
Archie replied: “Can’t lie I don’t even know his tunes.”
Tinchy stated: “You know my name? Tinchy Stryder.”
The rapper then moved the camera towards the fan, who was left smiling awkwardly.
