One of the biggest collections of Beatles memorabilia – worth an estimated £1.4m – is being put on show for the first time.
Fab Four nut Alex Worrall has amassed it over several decades and has carefully researched it.
It includes the lyrics to In My Life by John Lennon among hundreds of other items.

Alex has also collected guitars and drawings.
Now he is displaying some of the most significant for the first time, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Alex said: “There are over 400 items in my collection.
“I have original handwritten lyrics, guitars and drawings.

“I have artist Salvador Dali’s wedding present to John and Yoko, plus original Paul McCartney unpublished song lyrics.

“Occasionally, I give talks and have found that people are more interested in the back stories of the memorabilia than the actual artefacts.
“Like why with boredom on a film set, John wrote the homesick song Strawberry Fields Forever.
“I want to tell the stories behind some of the iconic memorabilia.

“In many cases, these artefacts were the catalysts for important chains of events that led to either changes in the law or events that were pivotal in some of the Beatles’ iconic songs or literature.

He said the collection was due to go on show in 2026 in Gibraltar, where John Lennon married Yoko Ono in 1969.
Some of the most important items include artist Salvador Dali’s wedding present to John and Yoko, with a letter inviting John to an exhibition.
It was a signed, limited-edition author’s copy of a book of erotica.
There are unpublished lyrics Paul McCartney wrote for James Bond songwriter Leslie Bricusse
There is a signed plate and drawing John Lennon created on a visit to the artist Andy Warhol’s factory.
There is a signed original film script from How I Won The War, which starred John Lennon.
And also George Harrison’s handwritten lyrics to So Sad.

There is a signed copy of John Lennon’s In His Own Write book, and also handwritten lyrics for The Beatles’ song, In My Life.
“There is an endless interest in the Beatles,” Alex, from Norfolk, added.
“They are a part of history.”
