A Desperate Housewives superfan has revealed he has spent £10,000 on his collection of props and costumes from the show.
Ryan Evans is so obsessed with the iconic noughties show he even got engaged on the filming set.
Last month, it was revealed that the show is set to make a comeback after actor Jesse Metcalfe who played John Rowland confirmed he’s been approached about reprising his role.
The show ended 12 years ago and starred Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Vanessa Williams.

Ryan, 30, of Newport, Isle of Wight, began watching the show at just 12-years-old when the show was airing its second season.
But he says he has watched the show – which has 180 episodes – at least 100 times.
Ryan said: ”I randomly came across it when it was in the middle of season two.
“And I knew instantly from the vibe and feeling of the show that it was just me.

”From the characters to the set it was filmed on, something inside me just had this passionate connection with the show and I’ve been obsessed ever since.
“I have had it on whilst falling asleep nearly every single night for the past 18 years.
“It’s my comfort show and it has this sense of escapism, so when I’ve been going through difficult situations in my life, I can just pop it in and you feel like you are taken to Wisteria Lane.”

Ryan started his collection in 2018, but insists he never planned on doing so.
The first item he collected was a prop invitation for Vanessa William’s character, Renee Perry that was used on the show.
Ryan purchased it online for just £30.
But over the years, he has amassed 100 items which he keeps in a room dedicated to his collection.
Ryan says he has spent £10,000 on his collection but believes it is worth £40,000 if he were to auction it off.
His collection includes 20 screen-worn pieces of wardrobe, 15 sets of screen-used props and a huge cabinet full of promotional items including calendars, perfumes and notebooks.
According to the superfan, the most expensive item in his collection is a Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) screen-worn dress that was worn in Season six – Episode four.
The navy blue cocktail dress with matching cardigan set Ryan back a staggering £1,250.
But he says his most valuable item is the iconic toy chest use by characters Mary Alice Young and her husband Paul to bury a body.
Other notable items in his collection include PJ’s, jumpsuits, dresses and trousers worn by various characters in the series.
Ryan added: “Most of my collection I have purchased from other film and tv memorabilia collectors that I have found through prop forums online and I have also brought a few items through online prop actions.
”At first I had display cabinets within my living room but over time as my collection has grown I have a room dedicated to my collection.
”Items are displayed in acrylic display cases on shelves and I have a closet completely full of my screen-worn outfits which are all in garment bags to protect them.”
Desperate Housewives isn’t the only comedy-drama Ryan is obsessed with.
He also collects props and costumes from Ugly Betty which he displays alongside his Desperate Housewife collection.
After spending six years of his life collecting memorabilia from the show, Ryan booked a trip to Los Angeles with his partner Alex, 39.
The pair visited on 9 April to explore all the different film __cpLocations where the show was filmed.
The couple went on a VIP tour of the show’s famous Wisteria Lane at Universal Studios Hollywood.
But Ryan received the shock of his life when Alex proposed to him on set.
Ryan added: “To not only get onto Wisteria Lane that was a lifelong dream but to get engaged there was unreal.
”The video of it I shared on TikTok has gone viral and we have had so much love from everyone and even from cast members from the show so it’s been a whirlwind.
“Then to top it all off, me and my fiancé were hiking up to the Hollywood sign and we run into Doug Savant who played Tom Scavo on the show and we had a photo with him.
”He congratulated us but what are the odds of bumping into any celebrity in Hollywood and it is one from the show.
”It was fate and I seriously believe that.”
